Dr. Nicol, Professor of Microbiology, University of Western Australia, and Honorary Professor of Microbiology, University of Cape Town, is a previous RePORT investigator who has been a key participant in the evaluation of many new TB diagnostics over the past decade and has been cited extensively in WHO policies and guidelines. Dr. Nicol maintains a research laboratory at UCT and will work closely with Dr. Zar, affiliated to UCTLI, in evaluation of pediatric TB biomarkers.
