Dr. Santos, M.D., Ph.D is an infectious disease specialist at the University of the State of Amazonas in Manaus, Brazil. He has extensive research experience in emerging diseases, TB, and HIV/AIDS and is the leader in the TB research field in Amazonas, Brazil.

Dr. Santos has also been involved in clinical trials relating to TB, HIV/AIDS, and malaria. In the RePORT Brazil project, he is the PI of the Manaus site and a member of the Steering and Scientific Committee.
