Bruno Bezerril Andrade, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine and International Health at Johns Hopkins University and a Senior Investigator at Fiocruz Bahia (Gonçalo Moniz Institute), where he leads the Laboratory of Clinical & Translational Research. He co-leads RePORT-Brazil and RePORT International, focusing on tuberculosis immunopathogenesis, biomarkers, and precision medicine for priority populations. Trained in Brazil and the U.S., he has worked across Latin America, India, and South Africa. His group integrates multi-omics, clinical studies, and implementation science to inform policy and improve care. He is deeply committed to mentoring physician-scientists and building collaborative networks that bridge bench to bedside.
