Anete’s main focus of research is the prevention of tuberculosis through TB preventive treatment (TPT). She has conducted clinical trials on rifamycin-based regimens for TPT and diagnosis of DR-TB, economic analysis on TB diagnosis and TB infection tests and treatment, as well as operational research to identify barriers and propose solutions in the TB infection cascade of care. She joined the RePORT Brazil team as one of the main mentors in the ReACT Fellowship Program in 2023.
