Dr. Malherbe, Principal Research Medical Officer, Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, (SUN-IRG), is a clinical researcher with a special interest in novel tuberculosis diagnostics, specifically host blood protein diagnostic biosignatures; and the use of PET-CT imaging in combination with transcriptomic biomarkers of treatment response. Dr. Malherbe will lead the SUN-IRG clinical site activities, screening for recruitment into both Common Protocol Cohort A and Cohort B.
