Airport

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM)

Terminal 1 (T1): Located in Santa Cruz, this terminal handles most domestic flights.

Terminal 2 (T2): Located in Sahar, it handles all international flights alongside some domestic flights.

Verify Your Terminal: Always check your specific flight itinerary before arriving, as terminals require a significant drive between them.

Transit Shuttle: A free shuttle service connects T1 and T2 for passengers with connecting flights.

Traffic Time: The airport sits about 22-25 km from the Mumbai city centre; travel times typically range from 45 minutes to well over an hour depending on traffic conditions.

Weather

In late September, Mumbai experiences warm and humid weather with daily temperatures typically ranging from a low of 24°C (75°F) to a high of 30°C (86°F). This period marks the tail-end of the monsoon season, bringing a decrease in heavy downpours, though occasional light to moderate showers and high humidity remain common. We recommend you keep an umbrella handy.  Hotel spaces can vary in temperature so a light sweater or shawl is also recommended.

Visa

Foreign nationals who have registered for the meeting should have already had their passport information submitted to the Indian government for approval if necessary.

Please post meeting photos and reactions on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram using the hashtag #reportinternational.
