Dr. Dessa Jean Casalme earned her MD from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of the Philippines Manila. Since 2019, she has served as a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials on preventive and treatment strategies for multidrug-resistant TB in both adults and children. Her work has deepened her interest in childhood and maternal TB, as well as post-TB lung disease.
