Dr. Soyeon Kim, ScD, is a Principal Research Scientist at Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation who has worked in the areas of HIV and tuberculosis (TB) research for more than 20 years. She has experience in the conduct of both clinical trials and observational studies, including studies of tuberculosis patients and their household contacts, starting with the International Collaboration for Infectious Diseases Research (ICIDR) project and the ongoing PHOENIx cluster randomized clinical trial. She currently works on interventional trials through the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT) Network, diagnostic studies through FEND-TB, and observational studies through TBRU. She has collaborated with many RePORT International investigators and is pleased to contribute her expertise to TB RICC. She will serve as a senior statistician for TB RICC. She work closely with the TB RICC Leadership Group in reviewing plans for the minimum dataset and harmonization efforts and evaluating concept sheets submitted to TB RICC for statistical soundness. For a study provided statistical support by the TB RICC Leadership Group, she provide oversight for statisticians performing statistical aspects of study design, conduct, data analysis, and reporting.
