Rajita Bhavaraju

Rajita Bhavaraju, PhD is the Director of Global Operations for the RePORT International Coordinating Center at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She has worked in the field of tuberculosis for over 25 years focusing on the areas of training, program evaluation, clinical services, research, and administration both in the United States and abroad. Rajita is also an instructor in the Department of Health Behavior, Science, and Policy at the Rutgers School of Public Health. She has held various leadership positions locally and globally, including as a University senator and on committees led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and The Union. Rajita is proudly of Indian descent and was born and raised in New Jersey. She lives there with her partner and grown children.
