Dr. Maria Marissa Golla finished her medical degree at the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) where she has been involved in many TB research activities. She has been trained in the management of drug-resistant TB and clinical trial operations. She serves as a Sub-Investigator of the Two-Month Regimens Using Novel Combinations to Augment Treatment Effectiveness of Drug-Sensitive TB (TRUNCATE TB) Study and Medical Officer of Community Approach to Control and Halt Drug-Resistant TB (CoACH-DRTB) Study and Rapid Research for Diagnostics Development in TB Network. Currently, Dr. Golla is the Associate Director of the DLSMHSI Center for Tuberculosis Research and the Liaison Officer of RePORT DLSMHSI where she helps in overseeing the projects being implemented at the site.
