Dr. Kritski, M.D., Ph.D is a professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), vice-Dean and coordinator of the Academic Program of TB at the Medical School of UFRJ, emeritus member of the Brazilian Tuberculosis Research Network, and a member of several other TB related associations inside and outside the Brazilian government. He has coordinated several clinical and operational research studies for AIDS and TB. His areas of focus are TB, TB/HIV, TB diagnosis, immunopathogenesis, molecular epidemiology, TB treatment, cost effectiveness analysis, etc.
